Review:
This simple shoe is great for lifting weights
and for martial arts. It isn't snug enough around
the bottom of the foot for running.
I don't like wearing them to work --- I don't know
why, but they don't seem to breathe as well as my
leather Docs.
I've been wearing these for years, and I love the
way they provide just a little arch support and a
solid rubber base. They are minimal and not showy.
The smooth rubber bottom surface is good for martial
arts, providing a regularity with some grip but not
too much. The uppers are just relatively thin canvas,
so you retain pretty good sensitivity in your feet.
Also, being smooth, dog doo comes off them nicely.

Pros: simple; solid
Cons: not for running
