The bottom line: With a slick new design, brighter screens, and a growing library of fun and innovative games, the Nintendo DS Lite is an impressive improvement over the original DS.

Pros: The good: The Nintendo DS Lite is slimmer and much sleeker that the original DS. The device employs innovative dual-screen and microphone-enabled gameplay as well as Wi-Fi multiplayer capabilities, allowing for a growing list of original and fun games that you can't play on any other system. In addition, the system is backward-compatible with almost every GBA title. All these additions come without increasing the price or decreasing the features of the original DS.

Cons: The bad: Playing online games via Wi-Fi can be a hassle. The darker models are just as susceptible to scratches and smudges as the Sony PSP and the iPod, and its multimedia potential remains exclusive to Japan.

The Ninendo Ds Lite is by far the greatest portable console that Nintendo has ever made. It is smaller the the orignal Ds and has much brighter screens. The Touch screen and microphone is a great addition, Compared to the gameboy advance.

Pros: Much brighter than the orignal DS. Much Smaller and can fit in pants pocket

The Nintendo DS is a great buy. I have owned all Nintendo consoles, and the DS is fantastic. Great Apple-ish design. Battery life is outstanding. I've played Age of Empires, and Super Mario 64 in it and they look awesome in this console. Excellent graphics given the small size of the console. No complaints so far.

Pros: great design. Excellent battery life.

Improved screens with four levels of brightness, all of which are brighter than the original Nintendo DS.[6]
Battery life: 15

Pros: Although the Newer Version Of the Ds is Much Smaller, It as a higher touch of lighting to it's Screen

the ds lite is the best handheld gaming device.

Pros: It has much brighter dual screens. It has a touch screen and a microphone. the buttons are great. Stereo speakers. a more thicker stylus and it is moved to the side of the ds. it has a glass off finish apple style cover. it is slimmer than the original ds.

Pros: This system is so cool. Sleeker and I love "stormbreaker" for it...sounds great and looks great.......great game

I got this player as a gift. The quality of the picture and sound (with headphones) is outstanding. The battery pack lasts at least 5 hours (advetised for 6)which makes it wonderful for trips. The controls are easy to understand. The extras: remote control, connector cables, car adapter and charger cables are a plus. ...
